Welcome!

Set amongst the spectacular scenery of the South Downs, Spring Barn Farm Park, in Lewes, Sussex offers a fantastic day out for all.

Happy New Year to everyone! It certainly has been a cold start to 2010. Here at Spring Barn we have been hard at work throughout the cold period making sure all the animals have plenty of food, water and warmth. Quite a big job for Rosie and Claire our two brilliant animal carers.

The farmhouse kitchen has kept the hot food flowing and those of you who have joined us have welcomed a bowl of hot warming soup or a winter pie.

We are looking forward to the weather warming up a bit and already our thoughts are turning to Spring. February half term is fast approaching and we will have a light hearted quiz to occupy the little ones with the usual small sweetie reward for completed ones.

Lambing will be starting in mid March. We are expecting our first lambs around the 14th, the same day as Mothering Sunday! Once again we have our special Mother's Day lunch, avoid disappointment & book early (click on "catering" to see our menu) and remember Mums come in to the Farm Park FREE when accompanied by one paying person - so join us and make a day of it.
